yo creo que el sh4 esta ambientado a pricipios de los 90 por que Henry no tiene ordenador(algo que en esta epoca es muy normal que tenga un joven en su casa) y ademas de que Joseph tenia un toca discos que es algo bastante antiguo( amenos que Joseph sea un amante de antiguedades)

si lo vemos desde ese punto de vista, los electrodomesticos y muebles en general presentan un estilo no muy moderno, por ejemplo, la radio, el telefono, las lavadoras, el tele es un poco rustico, el abanico de techo de la habitacion ...jajaja, el baño no es presisamente la mata de la modernidad y ni hablar de la nevera, no hay ordenadores...aqui los conocemos unica y exclusivamente con el nombre de computadores, la estufa, y no solo la casa de henry, tambien lo que alcanzamos a observar en la casa de eileen, y en muchas otras partes del juego y como si fuera poco el efecto de pelicula antigua que se nos muestra en la pantalla cuando estamos en peligro (y que por cierto me parece espectacular) lasa armas, y muchas pero muchas cosas mas.......

Segun la cronologia oficial del Lost Memories* SH2 se situa en el 2002 y, si tenemos la edad de Frank Sunderland y que no vio a su hijo desde hace mucho tiempo, es imposible que SH4 se situe a principio de los noventa...

Ademas, Josep tenia un tocadisco y una maquina de escribir porque no era de la misma epoca que Henry, atentos a ese detalle...

esta claro que joseph si es de una epoca mas antigua que henry por que si vivio antes que el en su casa ya es pista...eso todos lo saben, pero si hay un detalle y es la falta de modernidad al apartamento, o no se si lo que quieren demostrar con eso es otra cosa como el nivel economico de los ocupantes, o si fue un detalle del juego al que no tuvieron en cuenta, sh nunca se ha caracterizado por tener la tecnologia de ultimo nivel en sus historias, de todas maneras cualquier persona puede aportar su punto de vista.....

Primeramente que el televisor de henry no es de principios de los novento ni ahí, mira que yo vivi los noventa y no habian de esos televisores...

Talvez la falta de una computadora en todos los apartamentos pueda significar la humildad de las personas que viven alli, es mas, South Ashfield no es muy elegante que digamos, osea, no es un lugar para "ricachones" ni para "clase media-alta" sino para mas humildones...

Ten en cuenta igual que James era un empleado, si South Ashfield es un lugar para gente con dinero me suena ilogica la profecion de James entonces, su padre tampoco tiene pinta de adinerado tampoco.

Además,una de las veces que examinamos la foto dice que South Ashfield Hrights es un edificio muy antiguo,y esa tele que coño va a ser de los noventa

It may be that because of the unforeseen deaths of the town's population, as well as the thoughts and feelings of the prisoners, the original power that the town held was gradually distorted. 1840 Silent Hill Prison closes. After the closing of the prison, the Historical Society was built on its former site. It conveys a sense of the town's history.
1850 - A coal field is discovered and Wiltse coal mine opens, which leads to the activation of the town.
1861 - Outbreak of the American Civil War. The town is drawn into the Civil War that divided the nation in two. The stone statue by the lake is a memorial to Patrick Chester, a soldier who fought in the war at this time.
1862 - Toluca prison camp is constructed for POWs.

1940 - Dahlia Gallespie is born
1963 - Lisa Garland is born.

- October 6th - 14th: Walter worries about having to stay in the Hope House's round water prison (like his friends John and Bob) if he doesn't read the Order's Book well.
- October 15th: Walter's friend, Bob, dies in the Water Prison. Walter believes Andrew, the prison guard, killed him. - October 16th - 17: Dahlia visits the Hope House and tells Walter that his mother is really asleep in Ashfield and he must perform the 21 Sacraments to reawaken her. In truth, she's using him as a "Plan B" to resurrect the Order's god in case Alessa fails.
- October 18th - 27th: Walter has to stay in the Water Prison for penance, only allowed to come out on Sundays so he may read from the Order's Book and recite "The 21 Sacraments for the Descent of the Holy Mother".
- October 28th: Walter visits Ashfield for the first time.
1976
- February 10th: Walter visits Ashfield and is scared when a group of girls on the subway make fun of him. He is beat again.
- March 17th: Walter visits Ashfield and finds that a 'scary guy' has moved into the apartment he believes is his mother.
1977 - Vincent is born.
1978 – Alessa is six years old and is able to make apparitions appear, making her unliked amongst her classmates
1979 – Alessa is seven years old and is sacrificed by her mother to resurrect the Order's god. She is burned severely but does not die, being placed in St. Alchemilla Hospital. The fire damages half the old section of Silent Hill.
1982 - Ms. Mason, Harry's wife and Cheryl's adopted mother, dies.
1985 - Walter is 16yrs old and meets young Eileen Galvin and her mother. Eileen gives him her doll which he keeps with him at all times.
1986 – Alessa is fourteen and still residing in St. Alchemilla, being taken care of by Nurse Lisa Garland. Kaufman kills Lisa, but she is ressurrected to take care of Alessa. Harry and Cheryl return to Silent Hill and the first game takes place, afterward, Harry takes the baby of Alessa and Cheryl to Portland, Oregon and names her Cheryl.
1987 - The Order begins to suffer a period of inactivity.
1988 - 19 year old Walter begins to distance himself from The order and moves to Pleasant River to live. He attends school.
1991
– In Portland, Cheryl is 12 and a Cult member confronts Harry. Harry shoots the Cult member and moves he and his daughter back to Massachussetts and gives Cheryl the alias “Heatherâ€
