yo lei este rumor hace alrededor de 1 semana atras y me parecio una mala broma (y lo lei en IGN), pero al parecer se lo estan tomando en serio..........

In his latest review podcast, Matt Casamassina from IGN insists Halo DS is a real concept by stating “It's a real game… we're going to lay down some ownage next week or soon afterward by showing you guys that it is a real game.“

Casamassina cited Microsoft as the most likely reason that the project didn't see the light of day, but it should be intriguing to see what comes up when IGN publishes some info on the fabled DS shooter within the next week or so. Keep an eye on IGN's DS page after the weekend.
