Next Compilation Title Announced [Updated]
This afternoon in Japan, Square-Enix held a brief press conferance, shortly after the final episode of Before Crisis was made available for download. The conferance was private and only available to members of the news media, though some information has leaked in the last couple of hours on the Japanese 2ch message boards.

The conferance was primarily focused on Before Crisis, with the team behind the game discussing the success and creative process, however before the meeting came to a close, they made a surprising revelation.

They ran a brief trailer for the next title in the Compilation of FFVII, tentatively titled "Era Clash -Final Fantasy VII-". The game is being designed by much of the same team behind Before Crisis, and will also be released on the mobile platform, specifically the latest generation of iMode phones, which are capable of displaying detailed 3D graphics.

Edit 1: A photograph was uploaded to a vipuploader service just a bit ago and posted on 2ch. Credit to Cloud_S for finding it.

Edit 2: A second photograph was uploaded, this time from a different angle, showing the game's logo. It is in the same style as Before Crisis, and features a SOLDIER, pretty much confirming the reports about playing as one.

Edit 3: Another photo, this time just a screen. It's small, and was already cropped (apparantly it was from far away). The text is garbeled, but it supposedly says something about SOLDIER 13th Unit, "Ragnarok".

solo ke este chico ha tenido trauma con FFVII, he ahi la razon por la ke se encuentra materias por la calle, cuando se choca con el revisor del metro, su pantalla se rompe en trozos mientas la tipica melodia de combate suena, y justo abajo suyo aparece un ya anticuado menu azul con los comandos Atacar, Magia e Item. XDDDDDDDDDDDDDD

Scans of a promotional pamphlet given out by Square Enix have been posted. They contain artwork, the logo, screenshots, and a brief gameplay and story synopsis, as well as a message from the development team.

Just to Keep you Guys Perked Up...
Well, nothing much now but, just to keep you perked up for E3...

Completing Before Crisis (btw, the final chapter was just released), would get you an urgent notice about a "Secret Episode Release (for BC)"

A huge event would take place on E3 where SQEX would unveil their secret project(s)!

Btw, "Era Clash" is a hoax just like last year's "Eternal Curse"

Square-Enix desmiente todos los rumores sobre Final Fantasy XIII
La compañía niega que haya confirmado su aparición en el E3.


Hace unos días nos hicimos eco de los rumores que el magazine impreso EGM relataba sobre la aparición de Final Fantasy XIII en el próximo E3 de Los Angeles, y donde el juego supuestamente iba a ser anunciado en exclusiva para Playstation 3. Hoy esta información ha sido desmentida tajantemente por la propia compañía.

Según Square-Enix, todos los rumores sobre Final Fantasy XIII, ya hablen de su lanzamiento, presentación en el E3 y exclusividad de PS3, no están basados en información oficial y achaca estos datos a algún bromista que quiso adelantarse al "April Fool's day" para llamar la atención.
