Capcom has announced that it plans to release an updated version of Resident Evil 0 for the Playstation 2 . In terms of the Playstation 2 specific enhancements, the majority of the changes will be made in the game's visuals. Aside from the significant visual donwgrades, new story elements will also be introduced in the game. Resident Evil for the Playstation 2 will be released on July, 22 2007 in Japan. A North American release date has not been announced at this time.
