Me gustaría compartir algunos consejos de cosas que hay que hacer en Dragon Quest VIII, así como escucharlos de los que hemos tenido la fortuna ya de echarle el guante a este grandioso juego.

- Para obtener el dinero suficiente para comprar todas las mejores armas, armaduras, items, etc yo hice lo siguiente. Después de la aventura en el desierto de los dragones, reabren el Casino de Baccarat, entonces debes apostar en la máquina tragamonedas de 10 tonkens hasta lograr reunir unos 6.000 tokens, luego pásate a la máquina roja del fondo de 100 tokens y si logras sacar el triple 7 ( lo cual sucede bastante a menudo), te darán un premio de 100.000 tokens (por cierto hay que apostar siempre el máximo para cubrir todas las líneas). Yo he sacado ya 5 veces el triple 7 y con más de medio millón de tokens compré el látigo que aumenta en 80 puntos el ataque de Jessica, y las armaduras líquidas que les suben un promedio de 50 pts de defensa, además compré muchas cenizas de santo, las cuales se venden por 6.000 piezas de oro en cualquier tienda. Ahora mis personajes son práctimente intocables pues con 150.000 de oro en el banco y lo que compré en el casino, no hay nada demasiado caro. Gracioso

- Cuál es el mejor team de monstruos para el Monster Arena? Y donde se pueden capturar?. Yo solo he podido llegar a la categoría B.

- Alguien tiene a mano todas las recetas para la olla de alquimia?

- No hay que dejar ningún librero sin leer, armario sin abrir y ninguna vasija o barril sin romper

- En el mundo encontrarás cofres de tesoro que al principio no puedes abrir, es bueno apuntar donde están para cuando consigas las llaves necesarias, devolverse y abrilos pues contienen muchas cosas buenas.

Si se me ocurren más cosas luego las pongo

Trajes alternativos: La mayoría de los traj que exponemos a continuacion se consiguen de Jessica, pero mucho mas tarde puedes conseguir uno del heroe. Simplemente equipate con cierta pieza de armadura y tu personaje sera igual

- Dangerous Bustier Jessica: Ponle el Dangerous Bustier a Jessica.
- Traje de Jessica: Ponle el traje de Jessica a Jessica.
- Traje de bailarina Jessica: Ponle el traje de bailarina a Jessica.
- Jessica como chica Bunny: Ponle el traje de Bunny, las orejas de Bunny, y las medias a Jessica.
- Bikini magico de Jessica: Ponle el Bikini magico a Jessica.
- Jessica con Divine Bustier: Ponle el Divine Bustier a Jessica.
- Armadura Dragovian en el Heroe: Ponle la armadura Dragovian y el casco Dragovian al heroe

Segundo final: Vence en la mazmorra bonus y al ultimo boss otra vez

Aquí hay otros:

- Conforme vayas jugando y avanzando en el juego, irás (obviamente) subiendo niveles y adquiriendo puntos de experiencia que deberás distribuir entre una serie de habilidades que los personajes tienen (5 en total, 3 para armas y 2 para otras habilidades). Te recomiendo especializar al personaje en un máximo de dos armas y solo una de las otras dos habilidades. Yo cometí el error de ponerle puntos a todas y al final el personaje no logra obtener su máximo potencial. Malvado

- Hay una isla oculta en el mapa, se encuentra en el rincón sur-oeste del mismo, allí puedes conseguir cosas bastante buenas, reclutar monstruos y si logras matar a un monstruo de metal líquido sumamente escurridizo, te darán más de 10.000 pts de experiencia para cada personaje. Gracioso

MUAH JA JA JA !!!! He encontrado las recetas de la olla de alquimia, que aunque conserva algunos secretos, es de bastante ayuda para el viajero experimentado de DQ8 Retorcido

PREGUNTA: Alguien sabe donde se consigue la DRAGOVIAN SWORD ????

Dicen las leyendas (y un amigo) que si uno equipa el héroe con la Dragovian King Sword, el Metal King Armor, el Metal King Helm y el Metal King Shield, cambia de apariencia. Es cierto??, solo me falta la espada para confirmarlo pero no encuentro la Dragovian Sword. Triste

1-02 Basics of Alchemy

In order to use the Alchemy system in Dragon Quest VIII you must first obtain
the Alchemy Pot. This is achieved by talking to King Trode on the boat after
defeating Khalamari. Once you recieve it you will be able to access it via
the Misc. section of the main menu. Use of the Alchemy Pot is as easy as
choosing 2(or 3 after the Pot is upgraded) items from your inventory and
sticking them in the pot. It will tell you if you have a good combination.
You must then leave your inventory and walk around for a bit. Once you hear
the "ding" go back to the Alchemy Pot menu and your item will be finished.

3-01 Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Where do I get the Alchemy POt?
A: You will obtain the Alchemy Pot by following the main quest up until the
point when you take the boat from Port Prospect after defeating Khalamari.
Talk to King Trode on the boat and he will give you the pot.

Q: How do I use the Pot?
A: It is accessible from the "MISC" section of the main menu. Alternatively,
you can push SELECT to bring up the battle Records menu, choose Alchemy
Recipies and then press the CONFIRM button on any recipie and it will take
you straight to the Alchemy Pot screen.

Q: How long does it take for the recipies to finish?
A: A little while. ^_^ If you need the item right away you can just run against
the wall for a few minutes and listen for the ding. Time won't count unless
you're moving.

Q: When do I get my new Pot?
A: The Alchemy Pot will get an upgrade after you finish the events in Pickham.

Q: Where do I find (Insert Item Here)?
A: I will be adding a section detailing the locations of some of the more hard
to find Ingredients soon. Stay tuned.

Es una puerta de color vino enclavada en un risco.

Bueno, luego de 138 horas y 15 minutos he por fin ganado DQ8. Creo que este juego se convertirá en uno de los grandes clásicos del género, lo cual me hace muy felíz. Gracioso

Cuando terminen el juego no lo apaguen, dejen que pasen todos los créditos pues DQ8 continúa Asombrado

.... así es !!! este juego sigue y sigue (aún no se cuanto). La cosa es que en el Templo de los Dragones se habre un portal que te lleva a otra .... dimensión? creo, no estoy seguro. Es un sitio bastante épico. Gracioso

y aún trato de descubrir lo que hay que hacer.

El mejor equipo para el monster arena ya lo tengo, con el podrás ganar la categoría máxima S. En mi próximo post lo pongo.
