| Cita: | You don't often hear of a company's premiere employees laying down open thoughts about their own company, but in a refreshing change, God of War and Calling All Cars designer David Jaffe told GameTrailers (via GameDaily) that he would have removed the Blu-ray drive from PlayStation 3.
"I probably would have taken the Blu-ray out and sold it for less money," said Jaffe.
Considering Jaffe is probably more concerned with having PS3s in the hands of more consumers than pushing a new drive format, his stance isn't particularly surprising. Blu-ray certainly opens new avenues for developers, but, in the end, more systems would likely end up more important than additional disc space.
Has all the time he's spent developing smaller, indie-like online games changed his perspective? Pretty much. "I want to do games that take 10-13 months; I want to do games that aren't always story-driven, that are more gameplay-driven," he said. |
Resumiendo dice lo siguiente: "Yo hubiese prescindido del Blu-Ray y vendido la consola por menos dinero".

Pues sí... ponerle a la consola dispositivos tan tecnológicos e impresionantes (pero un poco inútiles) disparó el precio de ésta a costos que muy poca gente puede pagar jojo...
Siempre he dicho: Lo más barato es lo mejor, y si es gratis, PERFECTO

Bah, yo nunca titubeé en el pasado para criticar el horrible precio de esta consola... aunque después de todo, que importaba lo que yo dijera jojo... digamos que no tengo mucha influencia sobre Sony  XD (más bien tengo nula XD)
